About the Cincinnati Zoo/BeeSpotter Collaboration

Cincinnati Zoo and BeeSpotter are teaming up to learn more about the bees of the greater Cincinnati area.

We can't do it alone; we need your help! You can contribute to this citizen-science project to help scientists better understand bumble bee and honey bee demographics to help address problems like Colony Collapse Disorder and contribute to scientific knowledge of these pollinators.

Getting Involved

Here's how you can get involved:

1. Create an account
2. Add your bee spotting

That's it! Our experts will identify your bee and let you know when it's publicly visible on BeeSpotter!
